Chase Wood, Good News Jail and Prison Ministry

Chase was born in Annapolis, MD, in January 1958. He grew up in a Christian family and accepted Christ at an early age. Chase graduated from Southern High School in Harwood, MD in 1976. After graduation, he began working in the electrical field, obtaining his Journeyman Electrician's License in 1982.
Early on, Chase felt God calling him into full-time service, but it wasn't until later in life that he committed his life to the Lord's service. In 1993, he began his biblical education at Washington Bible College (WBC) in Lanham, MD. While pursuing his Bachelor's degree, he fulfilled the Christian Service Requirement by working with the Senior Chaplain of Good News Jail & Prison Ministry at the Jennifer Road Detention Center. He obtained his Associate of Arts degree from WBC in 1997. He has since completed his studies at WBC for a BA in Christian Counseling.
In 1999, Chase became a full-time Chaplain at the Jennifer Road Detention Center in Annapolis, MD. Chase lives in Deale, MD, with his wife, Patricia, and their three children.
