Responding To God's Invitation To Come

Final Prayer Thoughts

Respond to God’s Invitation to Come
(January - Week 3)

Mark 6:31 Then, because so many people were coming and going that they did not have a chance to eat, he said to them, "Come with me by yourselves to a quiet place and get some rest."

Luke 18:16 But Jesus called the children to him and said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these."

Mark 14:34, 37 "Stay here and keep watch." ... Then he returned to his disciples and found them sleeping.  "Simon," he said to Peter, "are you asleep?  Couldn't you keep watch for one hour?

Ephesians 6:18 And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests.  With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord's people.

(5). "We hear it said that a man will suffer in life if he does not pray; I question it.  What will suffer is the life of the Son of God in him which is nourished not by food but by prayer."
[Oswald Chambers, My Utmost For His Highest]

Prayer thought: God encourages always to come and know him.  The invitation is not based on crisis or availability but on everything and always.
