Improving To Serve Our Community and the World

“We always thank God for all of you, mentioning you in our prayers. We continually remember before our God and Father your work produced by faith, your labor prompted by love, and your endurance inspired by hope in our Lord Jesus Christ.”

1 Thessalonians 1:2–3

“But just as you excel in everything—in faith, in speech, in knowledge, in complete earnestness and in your love for us—see that you also excel in this grace of giving. I am not commanding you, but I want to test the sincerity of your love by comparing it with the earnestness of others. For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, so that you through his poverty might become rich. And here is my advice about what is best for you in this matter: Last year you were the first not only to give but also to have the desire to do so. Now finish the work, so that your eager willingness to do it may be matched by your completion of it, according to your means. For if the willingness is there, the gift is acceptable according to what one has, not according to what he does not have.”
2 Corinthians 8:7–12

Church Building Update

The steeple is up!

And if you’ve visited or driven past BRCC in the last few weeks, you’ll see we’re well on our way to a new look that will enhance our mission to carry the gospel to our own community and Annapolis, serve our neighbors, and more fully glorify Jesus in all that we do.

But the changes we’re making to the outside of our building are only one aspect of BRCC’s transformation. We’re also working hard to enhance the appearance and usefulness of the inside of our building.

The classrooms for our young people have already been enlarged, modernized and made more efficient. We’ve added two additional bathrooms. We’re modernizing our kitchen. And as you no doubt have seen if you’ve attended a service recently, we’re transforming our sanctuary to make it a more inviting, appealing, and useful place to serve our fellowship and preach the word of God.

If you’re already a member of the BRCC family, please consider making a contribution toward our ongoing effort to better serve our neighbors and community.

And if you’re not already a regular at BRCC, consider this an invitation to be our guest for Sunday worship. We would love to meet you!

God bless,

Your Friends at BRCC
